Bayerische Flugzeug-Werke (BFW) was founded on March 7, 1916
and in July 21, 1917, Bayerische Motoren Werke(BMW) was founded. Later on, BFW was acquired by BMW in
1922 with its complete production operation and name. That’s why the establishment
date is considered March 7, 1916. In 1923, BMW introduced its first motorcycle
in the market until BMW only made engines. The 1928 was the turning year for
BMW and it became an automobile company by purchasing Fahrzeugfabrik
Eisenach Company but the production started in 1929 after receiving license and
then BMW took start of its new journey in automobile production world and now
BMW got the ranking of top 3rd automobile production company in all
over the world.
Mission and Goal of BMW
It’s a mission of every production
company to produce premium product on premium price. BMW also associated with
this same goal of premium product and premium price and BMW is the first world
